Route & General Observations

Skied Basketball and Elevator Shaft yesterday. Snow falling up high, rain down low. Basketball was something like hot pow, Elevator Shaft was more like wet pow. First skier down Basketball triggered a notable loose wet slide. Slow moving, but kept gaining mass, definitely large enough to injure a skier or bury them in a terrain trap. Low quality-cell phone-flat light picture of slide attached. Lots of skier initiated moving snow in Elevator Shaft. Wet point releases on north aspects the instant the sun came out in the afternoon. Weak melt freeze crust which gained some strength with elevation.
