Route & General Observations

This soft slab was triggered by the second skier on a steep 300′
long convex slope. A “crack” sound was heard as it released and
the skier was able to ski off to the side.

Southwest facing, ~200′ wide x ~12″ deep and running ~150′, R1-D1.
Weak layer is unknown but was suspected to be below the April 7th
storm snow. This is concerning as it shows that withing the new
snow during the past week there may be persistent weak layers that
are still reactive.
