Calm winds, -9c at car at beginning, warmed to -5c at a point in the sun.
Skied in the alpine on south and west facing aspects of Magnum and Goldpan. Lots of people enjoying the fairly clear day. Approx ~40 people in & around Magnum/Cornbiscuit area, ~20 at Sunburst, a couple parties up to Pastoral, ~8 on Library, and 3 in upper drainage under Peak 4400.

Soft snow layer on top with firm base, firm base disappearing with elevation. Approx 15-30cm ski pen above 2500', less so on the west facing slope of Superbowl, more so on the south facing chutes of Superbowl and Goldpan. Wind buff and wind scoured just on ridgetops. The west facing entrance to Superbowl main face held more wind effected dense snow than expected, a little "slabby" per say. A friend on Eddies also mentioned more wind effected snow near Ridgeline, and snow density lighted as they descended the Eddies south wall.
No formal tests. Did not observe any red flags. Did not notice new avalanches. Deliberately dropped several cornices and performed ski cuts before descents, with no results. Cornices did not appear especially sensitive. Sluff ran, but relatively slowly.
