Hand shear test (snow saw was used)

Toured up to 3500′ on Superbowl until we encountered a ~6″ wind slab ski penetration changed drastically.
Did a few quick hand shear / pole tests with that layer breaking with easy force. On a old interface with some decomposing particles / facets.
A bigger block around 40 cms down broke with moderate force. In some small faces. (Not measured on card).
We turned around and ski from that elevation. Skied other line on the SW bowl as well. Good snow.
