Skier-triggered avalanche on the west face of Magnum. The skier was caught and carried but was able to self-arrest on the bed surface. We have sparse details on the avalanche, but it looks to be 750-1000′ wide, failing on facets 2-3′ deep. Estimated vertical run is around 1200′.
