Route & General Observations

Started from the Sunburst lot and partied with the alder to ascend Magnum’s SW shoulder.
A couple laps of high quality snow before sampling the alder skiing below Cornbiscuit.
Observed long running sluffs from previous tracks on sunburst.
Snow is still gliding. The large crack on N face of Cornbiscuit is open again. Observed a superficial crack on steep roll over near bottom of south face of Magnum (refer to map pin for an approximate location).

Weather

Few clouds. Calm air. Cold temps with an inversion.

Snow surface

15-20cm soft faceted snow above crust. Some stellars sprinkled in near TH.
Crust disappears near 3000’

Snowpack

Hand pit tests didn’t produce much startling results.
Many skiers on steep terrain w/o incident.
