Observation: Seward
Location: LV Ray
After finding exquisite settled pow on Andy Simons the other day, we went back to check out LV Ray. Bed surface and constant spindrift in north coolies; jarring sun crust on the south half of the compass; shallow settled pow on the west face; and faceted square pow in the glades above Carter Lake. No surface hoar observed in the alpine, though plenty in the valley around Carter Lake. No signs of instability, but no formal tests.
