From trail this area is about 1/2 mile from Barber Cabin
Avalanche debris was 10-15' deep in places

This avalanche came down earlier this week. People should use the lake to
travel on since it now has 8″ of ice and gets you away from these slide paths.
This path has crossed the trail many times and can slide several times within a
week. Last year we had 2 avalanches this big or larger within a week.
