Route & General Observations

Raggedtop up track to 2400ft, dug a pit in a protected area to keep ourselves out of the wind chill. This makes the pit profile not entirely representative, as the wind was active in most other areas, having more and more impact as we climbed higher.

Weather

Few clouds, temp near 0F, winds light gusting moderate out of the NNW, no precip. Active wind transport on all ridge lines in sight.

Snow surface

Spatially variable wind affected surface ranging from anti-tracks and hard wind board to mildly affected low density powder.

Snowpack
