The new snow falling today was very sticky and bonded well to the soft windslabs
from yesterday. However, yesterdays softslabs were still quite tender. I think
that our group managed to remote trigger, ski cut, and skier trigger a total of
11 softslabs in the roly-poly terrain of lower lipps. These were all very small
and sliding on the softer snow beneath yesterdays windslabs. They were
characteristically slow moving and did not run far, and were very manageable in
that terrain.
We certainly avoided the more open terrain, bigger rollovers, and the main
runout beneath the faces above.
