Route & General Observations

Stopped en route to Homer to poke around on the lower elevations of Butch. Went over the bridge and along the lake before cutting in to climb. Didn’t have much time so only made it to the first bench. I was still in thin cover over alders at 1575′ so didn’t even try a pit. Surface conditions were similar to H Thamm’s report on 1/17/19 from Fresno.
