Route & General Observations

Passing along a few photos and info from Sam McLain who was out at Lost Lake on Saturday, Dec 16.
Accessed the lake area from the Primrose trailhead. Snowpack is only around 3 feet deep at the elevation of Lost Lake, around 2,200′.

No red flags were observed and no signs of avalanche activity in the area.

Loose new snow.

Snowpack

Total snowpack depth around 3 feet. The top couple feet reported being loose powder with the bottom foot or so composed of old ice crusts.
