Route & General Observations

1/2: Toured out to Lost lake, generally along the summer route which is around 2000ft elevation and noticed 4-5mm surface hoar on all aspects. Clear and calm wind. No red flags observed.

That night, we camped by the lake and it was clear, cold(around 5-10F) and calm. Heavy inversion by lake. Around 4am, heavy cloud cover down to 2500ft came in. On the ski out the next morning, 1/3, it was snowing S-2 to S5. Seward received 10cm of new snow overnight(1/3-4), so there is likely much more than that on top of the new BSH in Lost lake area. Watch out!
