Observation: Chugach State Park

Went up to the ballfield from the West aspect.
Got to see a Wet Loose debris on the N aspect of little O’Malley.
We dug a pit (or a few, as part of the class).
CT7 / ECTP22… On facets below a rain crust around 50 cms down. Different results for every student but around the same, in the ‘Hard’ range for propagation potential. Lower angle slope.
The slab above is the whole snow saturated with water.

Rapid warming, wind loading, and that recent Avalanche, but no other signs of instability.
