This is indeed the same avalanche submitted by the skier involved (South face of Rusty's Ridge). No skiers caught, everyone was OK.
Skinned up under little O’Malley. signs of wind coming up the pass from the southeast. Surface hoar most of the way up. Some obvious wind loading along the Ridgeline and southeastern side of gulley. Pit along the Ridgeline just below ballfield at 3272 ft showed a reactive layer (CT13) 40cm down. From near the Glenn Alps trailhead, spotted a slide on south face of Rusty’s Ridge on the way back that was not there on the way out (looks to have been submitted by the group that triggered).
