Hiked up Little O Malley Gully from Glenn Alps Trailhead.

Snow pack was in general thin with a large wind slab deposited near the top of the gully.

Weather

Large inversion. Single digits in Anchorage. Mid 20s on the mountain. Last snow event was a few days ago. Sunny at time of observation.

Snow surface

Snowpack was thin along typical up track. Near the top, a wind slab was deposited on hiker's right/skiiers left. Slab varied from crust near the top to several inches of fresh snow lower on the hill.

Wind slab did not show any signs of instability.
