Wet loose avalanches on east and south faces throughout summit. One large slab avalanche, that looked to be newer, that failed to the ground on a west facing aspect of a steeper slope in what I think was the quartz creek drainage. (Spotted as we drove north from the south end of the pass/hard to identify on a map retrospectively)
HS: 85 cm. East facing aspect. 30 deg slope. Elevation: 2450 ft
Shovel shear: 1 (very easy) at ground/ basal facets
CTV at 0 cm
ECTP22 at 0 and propagated up to 40 cm facet layer above Christmas crust. Facets still distinct above Christmas crust layer
