Route & General Observations

A skier triggered this avalanche on Friday 2/20 as he was
skinning up the SW shoulder of Lipps at approx. 2500 feet
elevation. The slab broke free 20-30 yards above him and carried
him down the slope. He was not injured or buried and was sitting
on top of the debris when it stopped.
