Weather & Snow Characteristics
Please provide details to help us determine the weather and snowpack during the time this observation took place.

Clouds building from incoming storm, but high and decent light from S-W. Light winds. Cold.

Snow surface

Some pockets of standing surface hoar, but mostly dismantled by wind. Not since 2011 have we had such XMas pow pow!?

Not as much natural avalanche activity from past storm cycle noted up Spokane Creek as in the next two drainages north...no humans to test otherwise.
