Location: Lipps
A skier was able to ski cut and trigger this soft slab avalanche
on the west side of Lipps. The ski cut was placed on a steep roll
over near the top and involved only the most recent storm snow
(possibly some wind loading as well). Estimated to be 12″ deep at
the deepest part of the crown, 75′ wide and running 1000′.
