Route & General Observations

Observed very stable conditions on the west end of the Library. Perfectly right side up snowpack with no basal facets, 170 cm snowpack at ~2500 ft. Heard some whumphing but determined it was the brush collapsing rather than a collapse in the snowpack. We hit a section of touchy windslab on the last 100′ before topping out. Be sure to stretch well and bring a headlamp before entering alder terrain.
