1 member of party of 3 that had most recently used up track chose a descent above the up track. Unbeknownst to them another party of 1 was on the up track. Upon descent skier triggered wind slab at their feet but were able to stop skiing and not be involved with avalanche. Luckily person using up track was high enough on the track to not get completely smoked by avalanche. Close call. Heads up for what’s below and above you.
