Route & General Observations

Hiked up to Lane Glacier on Tuesday, noted no prior tracks in new snow. Found up to a foot and more in some areas on glacier…made for some great turns. Bootpack on approach was over knee deep. Upper portion of glacier was dust on widespread wind slabs and notable rockiness persisting. Need a few more dumps to cover all the rocks….luckily hit nothing while skiing our two laps. Fun day!

Settled powder with wind slabs up higher consistent with findings on Snowbird Glacier the week prior.
