Route & General Observations

Sunday AM- Drove north through Summit Lakes zone and noted wind effected slopes on most all aspects with active flagging on west side of hwy. Noted more flagging on ridges on south side of hwy near Johnson Pass trail as I drove to Center Ridge parking lot. Toured standard Center Ridge trail into Tincan Creek valley and bowl northeast of Kickstep. Minor amounts of fresh snow on top of a firm base made for easy travel. Credit to light winds as we did not witness sluffing, roller balls or any other sun effect on southern slopes.
