Route & General Observations

Observation from both Saturday & Sunday. Common moto-uptrack to Seattle Ridge. Traveled into JR’s Bowl via both the ridgeline route and Main Bowl route. Sled-skied about every aspect in 2nd Bowl. Progressed into steeper terrain throughout both days. Rode parts of Little Sweden on Saturday afternoon. Exited both days by about 5:00 pm.

Weather & Snow Characteristics
Please provide details to help us determine the weather and snowpack during the time this observation took place.
Weather

Classic blue bird April days. Mid to high 20's, lots of sun made it feel warmer. Slightly breezy on Saturday, maybe 10 mph. Calm winds on Sunday.

Snow surface

Variety of melt-freeze crusts, some shaded dry powder stashes, and the very beginnings of late afternoon corn. Some exposed areas had anticipated wind slabs. Afternoon boot penetration was never more than ankle deep. Hand pits generally showed dry snow below. Some roller ball activity, mainly off corniced areas......we hung super wide around Zero Bowl in the afternoon.
