Observation: Turnagain

Snowmachined at Johnson Pass today – saw several fresh & massive debris piles.
Stayed off of slopes and away from runout zones. The debris pile in the photos
was over a half mile long. Fairly heavy wet snow – was coming down super hard
when we left at 430 pm.

*Forecaster notes: Not sure how recently these avalanches occurred. They appear recent enough to show concern for more of the same. Starting zones and crowns were not visible on 1/6.
