Location: Johnson lake- access from moose pass side
As we stopped on the side of the lake, we witnessed whoomphing, collapsing, and cracking when we
stopped on our sleds. Dug a snow pit right by the lake away from any trees, and did a ct test. It failed on
CT15 where the old snow meets the new, above the sugar snow on the very bottom. We saw a natural
avalanche on a ridge over from the lake, but nothing that could effect us.
