Route & General Observations

Skinned up to Babyruth from parking lot via cross country ski trail. Weather was supposed to be “mostly sunny ” but there was cloud coverage over Eklutna area and the sun never came above it so it felt more like partly cloudy at best. Temps were in the twenties with a 5 mile an hour breeze.
Snow pack was pretty much one solid mass with a few areas that seemed to have layers. No shooting cracks, but I could get a thin slab to pop and slide but only if it was very small, anything larger would support my weight. We skied a northeast shoot with very limited skiable snow. Mostly it was just wind slab.
