Route & General Observations

Skied the north facing bowl and west facing paths above the road at the pin. I don’t know what this area is called. Ski quality was good in soft surface facets on mostly supportive wind pressed snow below. Though there was some very bottomless faceted areas at lower elevations in the willows. No new avalanches were observed but I did have a pretty good whumpf on old wind slab on the cross loaded side of the west facing alpine gullies. The slope also cracked but the slab did not release as the slope angle was only about 30 degrees.
