Toured from south fork trailhead to hunter pass. from hunter pass we traveled west along ridge from towards rendezvous. Lots of wind effected snow and evidence of past avalanches in most cross loaded gullies.

No precipitation, light winds and temps staring at -13c at 930am reaching freezing by 3pm

Snow surface

Sastrugi and wind crust, 5cm of of low density snow near tree line.

Snowpack

Snowpack: Strength=Mod, Prop=low, Struct=Poor (4 lemons: <100cm, NSF, 3 step hardness diff, <10cm weak layer thickness) see pit profile. Chained depth hoar in bottom of of the snow pack.
