Observation: Chugach State Park
Location: Hiland Road Mile 7.3
Avalanche came down across Hiland Road at mile 7.3. This is the first time in at least 13 years avalanche debris crossed the road. 5-6″ new snow fell Sunday morning with considerable drifting, wind loading in the gully that feeds this chute.
