Observation: Hatcher Pass

Skinned from Marmot parking lot across creek to north side of 4068, then swung around the east side to access Wimp bowl and gain the peak. Our goal was an East facing slope off the southwest ridge. Dug pit hoping to gather intel on quality of snow on the slope we planned to ski. Pit was at 3000 ft, ESE 120 degrees, 33 degree slope angle, 83 cm of snow, ECTX. Though we did take caution of the BF at ground level. Skiing was variable to say the least, and we found very hard conditions above 3800.
