Route & General Observations

Standard uptrack at mile 10. 6-8″ new snow on crust. Crust was hard enough that ski pole probes would not penetrate. Low density snow skied fast but turns were tough do to the thick crust. Ski turns never
broke through the crust. We topped out at tree line with wind gust starting to pick up.
