Two avys on Hatch on 17 Dec 2016. I imagine we triggered both of them. They were not there as we set the skin track up.
The avalanche into April Bowl did not happen as we set the adjacent skin track. But it did happen within an ~hour of us setting the track: it was there on lap 2.
Call it 1pm, WNW aspect, 4300', steepish slope, 3' crown max, mostly closer to a foot, ~200' wide, hard slab, relatively lots of new snow on top, delayed sympathetic.
Same story for the shooting crack, didn't happen until sometime after we passed by.
The other avy is lower Hatch main face, on the east side of the N ridge, within the commonly-runs pocket below the rollover.
1PM, N aspect, 4200', somewhat steep slope below rollover, crown maybe a foot, ~40' wide, new storm slab/old hard slab sandwich, presumably sympathetic.
(It appears to be the same one pictured in an 18dec observation on your site as a NE aspect at 4300'??)
