Avalanche Details

Us 4 skiers didn't trigger or observe anything from where we were on Hatch Peak.

Upon return to the car, there was a party of snowmobilers who were waiting for friends to get dig out a backpack which was buried in an avy. They said the slope had been rode about 8 times already. They switched to riding an adjacent slope, and a combination of the rider snowmachining and a cornice falling triggered a large slide on the old slope. The slide ran far, into the area where they were hanging out and watching from. In sledding away from the incoming slide, a backpack they left was buried. Around Hidden Bowl apparently.
