Observation: Hatcher Pass
Location: Hatch Peak
Snowmachined over the summer road, and around the Willow side of the pass. There was about 8″ of low density surface snow with consolidated powder beneath. No formal tests. Between my own and the hundreds of tracks on various west, north & east facing steep slopes, did not observe any red flags or avalanche activity.
