Avalanche Details

Large avalanche on Harp had come down during the storm, probably near the end. Wide propagation from the west aspect wrapping around to the north aspect, involved deeper layers than the last storm.

North winds with steady snow transport near ridges.

Snow surface

Five inches light, new snow over a soft, breakable, wind-rippled base in protected areas. Various levels of wind effect elsewhere.
