Observation: Summit

Hi Friends!

Today we skied at Summit Lake, up the creek between Raven Ridge and Butch to Hale Bop, and down
Butcher Creek to Tenderfoot. On the ascent it was crusty to 4,000′ then became dry snow with older and
newer windslab to the summit at 5,000′. The new windslab was whoomphing to 100 feet away. Skiing into
Butcher Creek was nice down to 3500′, then became breakable crust on all aspects, even souths at 4pm.

Please tell the crust to go away.
