Bertha creek to Granddaddy. Most s facing stuff into Bertha has slid to the ground. The few high, protected pockets the wind and sun haven’t found are still holding some decent snow. Last 2 storm’s snow didn’t seem to bond well. Easily hand sheared clean 10 and 20 cm slabs (2 individual small slabs due to break in the last storm?).
Pit halfway up Granddaddy:
ECTN13 10 cm down
ECTN14-17 20 cm down
never fully propagated.
ECTP30 65 cm down (2 storms ago interface?) Super clean energetic propagation. Block jumped off. Surprised us.
Good reminder cold protected slopes slow to heal, even in late spring.
