A few laps in the goldpan, cornbiscuit, magnum area.

Observer Comments

Had a small settlement in a flat area on a well used skin track. Dug about 40cm to see if there was an obvious weak layer near the surface but didn't see anything. Nothing observed otherwise.

Weather

Cold and clear. Warmer in the sun but snow surface remained dry on south aspects. Cold wind coming from various directions depending which ridge you were on. Snow was blowing from Zero bowl south to 3 bowl area on Seattle ridge for a short period in the morning and then again later in the afternoon.

Snow surface

Variable but mostly good. Saw some good sized sluffs on Magnum, west facing aspect, steep.
