Route & General Observations

Toured from mine parking lot to Gold Chord Lake valley, up Nose Hairs ridge, then skied a lap on Farside and then skied a lap on Nosehairs.

Skied open runs where sluff management was minor. No cracking or collapsing observed today. No winds were observed on ridges or peaks.

Snow surface

Small surface hoar was observed only in Gold Cord Lake valley (see pic) and Independence valley proper.
