Route & General Observations

Quick solo tour after work to see conditions and ski sheltered powder. Ventured toward aspect on Flattop where small avalanche reported yesterday. Talked with two other ski parties (1 skied SW Aspects of False O’Malley, 1 skied low angle snow pockets on Blueberry Knoll) No one reported seeing any shooting cracks or hearing any whumpfs this evening. Weekend snow layer was reactive and both wind and sun crusts had formed during the day making riding conditions spatially variable.
