Weather & Snow Characteristics
Please provide details to help us determine the weather and snowpack during the time this observation took place.

Skies were overcast with light winds in sheltered areas. Occasional light snow. Air temps were just below freezing.

Approximately 10cm of soft new snow in sheltered area over additional recent snow from earlier in the weekend.

Top ~30cm of snow is not well bonded to the old snow. While touring we found the new snow stuffing on steeper slope angles.
