Route & General Observations

Sunday stroll in the valley, observed spiky ice needles on alders and hemlocks. Crystal cacti, if you will. Result of ice fog? No surface hoar developing on snow surface, interestingly. Cacti spines seen from about 1,000’-1,800’. Just nature being neat!
