facet-lanches (or facet sluffs). see photos

Snow temp: -3 to -7 C
Soil/Ground temp: 0 to -1.5 C
Facet chain (1mm grid)
Facet-lanches atop Jewel Glacier (sluffs composed of very weak faceted snow)
