Started from the highway at 2:45pm. 12°, 4-6″ of sugar, sun felt so nice. At 1,800 ft (bottom of the meadows) probed 80 cm deep, with a stiff layer at 20 cm all the way down to ground. In the meadows punchy and variable. A wind crust on the ridge. At 2,200 ft probed 90 cm deep. No whumphing or shooting cracks noted, but some areas drum-like. Good skiing below the meadows. Back at the highway 4:450pm with some beautiful alpenglow.
