Mid day tour into Chugach State Park to capitalize on the new snow before winds come in.

4-6" low density new snow from 3/15-16 sitting on a variety of surfaces from bare tundra to stiff wind board and semi-supportable sun crust. 1-2mm surface hoar found capping the soft surface.
Loose snow sluffing was slow and low enough volume to not be an issue on 35-45 degree northerly slopes. Really fun front range skiing.... Just gotta get it before the winds do!
Shallow and steep enough that boot pack was the preferred method on the up.
Not 'Turnagain deep' but super fun skiing!
