Cold day today in the front range. Seems like all of Anchorage is out enjoying the great early season snow! I couldn’t count how many tracks were out there!!! No signs of avalanche activity on north or west aspects. Last storm snow sitting on Halloween base. No observable weakness in the interface at this time. There is surface hoar forming. We also observed 5-8mph ridge top breeze today from the North. No loading noted.
