We toured up from the Independence Bowl Parking Lot to Friendship Pass and back.

Clear skies, light winds, temperature = 27.6 F (Marmot Mtn Wx Station)

Snow surface

Hard crust leading to pass with occasional inch or two of recycled surface powder.

Snowpack

Pit dug just on the NW side of Friendship Pass. HS=270 cm. CT17, Q2 at 40cm; ECTP25, Q2, at 50 cm.
