Route & General Observations

Melt/freeze crust now firm and supportable, but you can poke a ski pole through it. Several inches of fluff on top. Numerous natural avalanches in the entire Hatcher area, especially on S/SW slopes and gullies on nearly all aspects. These appear to have run yesterday. Fairly large Size 1-1.5 on lookers right of Friendship pass, with crown visible from High Grade area

Several inches of nice powder on top of melt/freeze.

No whumphing or shooting cracks but I stayed 25 degrees or less
